The Chislet Country Fair
This years Chislet Country Fair was held on Saturday 29th June. The school opened the fair as usual, with some Maypole dancing. The PTFA had some very successful stalls, including Face Painting, lucky dip and a Sweetie Tombola, raising just over £700.
It was a huge event this year with around 20 craft stalls attending, dancing performances, a dog show and an amazing 30 minute performance by a local Rock Choir. A team of parents ran the Tearoom and the Bar, while others ran stalls, baked cakes and sent in donations.
This is the biggest event of the academic year, where the school plays a huge part in putting together this amazing community event. The staff take their turn manning stalls, whilst Miss Fitzwilliam is the MC for the afternoon.
This year the Country Fair made a huge profit, raising approximately £4000 for the school.
